Internet salary calculator is a good idea. I have also seen a company called JobeeHive (www.jobeehive.com) - They allow employees to report salaried anonymously on their website..Once you report your salary anonymously, you can view salaries of other people across the companies and industries. This is very useful when someone needs to decide up on salaries or compare with other companies and even cities.
